Frequently Asked Questions

Giggles starts up with windows, can I prevent this?
  • Yes! Go to "[Start] -> Programs -> Startup" you will see a shortcut to Giggles in your startup program group. Any program in here starts with windows. You can Right click the shortcut and delete it if you want. After deleted, Giggles will not start with windows. You will need to launch Giggles from the desktop shortcut.

Giggles is installed but it does nothing when I press a function key

  • First, make sure you have no other keyboard macro software running. That other macro software may have taken control of your function keys. If you have already done this, look for a Function Lock key on your keyboard - your function keys may be locked. A function lock key is sometimes called a FUNC, FLOC, FLOCK, F-LOCK, F/L key depending on your keyboard manufacturer.
  • There is a possibility that the version of Giggles you have installed simply doesn't work for you. Try do a complete uninstall (from control panel), then download and install the other version and see if that helps. Please take care to save somewhere else any modified giggles you may have made before doing the uninstall.

Is there anything else I might need to know?

  • Yes: There are reports, that  turning OFF the Giggles "Page Up (Sleep)" setting helps eliminate problems. While cute if you go AFK in There, it can create havok sometimes when you are working in other applications. (Thanks Danzibar :)
